The 64th Family Medicine Review provides 5 days of continuing medical education on recent developments in patient management for Primary Care Physicians, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, Residents and AHPs.  The educational offerings will enhance patient assessment and outcomes by utilizing didactic lectures, case presentations, skills labs and Q&A sessions. The Family Medicine Review is presented by expert faculty members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in a format of morning lectures and afternoon interactive workshops. The purpose of the Family Medicine Review is to improve knowledge, skills, competence, performance and patient outcomes.

Registration fee includes a $100 non-refundable administrative charge.  No refunds are available for cancellations after June 12, 2017 or for non-attendance.  Onsite registration is an additional $50 fee.  

Daily Prices: $210/day - Physicians   $180/day - AHPs (increases by $20/day after 6/1/17)

Performance Learning Objectives:
As a result of this activity attendees will be able to:

1. Implement best practices regarding the recognition and management of patients with mental health disorders
2. Develop new strategies for using the electronic medical record in order to improve provider and patient satisfaction
3. Develop a management plan for patients with concussions
4. Formulate a management strategy for patients with opioid use and abuse disorders
5. Describe the characteristics of patients with Alzheimer's disease/dementia

Participants will have the opportunity to attend 20 lectures and select from 20 interactive w
orkshops during the week.
Access to an electronic syllabus will be provided on registration day.  
Morning and afternoon snacks/beverages will be provided in addition to the traditional Monday night BBQ.

AOA -  The CME Activity titled “64th Annual Family Medicine Review” scheduled for June 18-23, 2017, is approved for 32.25 AOA Category 2-A CME credits.  

ANCC and AANP accept CME certificates of participation from ACCME accredited providers for contact hours of continuing education.  Additionally, hours may be claimed for Pharmacotherapeutic requirements.

AAPA accepts certificates of participation for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.

AAFP -  Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Determination of credit is pending.
