Program Description:
Join us for our Annual State of the Industry Event.  This year the session will focus on transportation and its impact on the meeting and tourism industry.  Speakers will discuss the present and future Streetcar project, along with other modes of transportation in Kansas City.  The fun and problems with group use of all forms of transportation in KC.

WEST YARDS PARKING GARAGE

The Carriage Pavilion Bridge & Pedestrian Walkway to the West Yards Parking Garage is now complete. The bridge entrance is accessible via Kessler Road through the Carriage Pavilion located on the west side of Union Station’s front entrance. The West Yards Parking Garage is a four-level parking garage. It's EV (electric vehicle) ready and has a 7' clearance. The garage is located on the west side of Union Station, also accessible via Broadway Street.

Up to 2 Hours -$3; Up to 4 Hours-$5 - Payments accepted: Cash, Coins, Visa, MasterCard, Discover

Limited parking is available in front of Union Station. The east side is reserved for Union Station visitors; the west side is reserved for U.S. Post Office patrons. Mid-Con Management 

Registration Fees:
Members: $39 ($49 after January 15)
Non-Members & Guests: $49 ($59 after January 15)

Course Objectives:

The course objective is for attendees to understand the impact of transportation on the meeting planning and tourism industry

Clock Hours:

You will receive 1 clock hours for attending this education program.  On your CMP application/renewal this would be categorized toward CMP International Standards –Domain G – Meeting or Event Design . CIC will have final approval on education value when your CMP application is submitted.  

Community Service:

We will be collecting donations for Operation Breakthrough, www.operationbreakthrough.org

Their needs remain the same throughout the year but often times one need is a little more focused on than another.  They continue to request underwear and socks.  They have requested both boys and girls in sizes 2T to 5.  Underwear donations need to be new please.
