The Postsecondary Disability Training Institute (PTI) is sponsored by the Center on Postsecondary Education and Disability at the University of Connecticut. Now in its 29th year, PTI is held in conveniently located cities in the Northeast each June and draws over 300 participants per year from across the United States and Canada.

The objective of this Training Institute is to assist concerned professionals to meet the unique needs of college students with disabilities. Participants can select from a variety of Pre-Institute Sessions, Strands, Single Sessions and Poster Sessions taught by experts in the field that provide participants with in-depth information and adequate time for questions and follow-up activities throughout the week.

If you would also like to attend the Tuesday Pre-Institute there is an additional fee of $135.00.  You will make your selection on the Agenda page during the registration process.

Group Registration

A group of 3 or more individuals registering together online from the same institution will receive a discount on each general registration only.  Discounts do not apply to Tuesday Pre-Institute or Single Day Registration. 

Payment must be received [not just postmarked] before or on May 19, 2017. Group registrations received after May 19, 2017 will be considered “On-Site” registrations and processed accordingly.

Attending the Tuesday Pre-Institute is an additional charge.  Registration and payment must be received before or on May 19, 2017.

The "Tuesday Pre-Institute ONLY" registration type is for people who plan to only attend the Tuesday Pre-Institute.

If you are attending the Tuesday Pre-Institute and also the rest of the Institute, you will make your selection on the Agenda page during the registration process. 

Tuesday Pre-Institute ONLY Late/On-Site

$135.00

Attending the Tuesday Pre-Institute is an additional charge. Registration and payment received after May 19, 2017.

The "Tuesday Pre-Institute ONLY On-site" registration type is for people who plan to only attend the Tuesday Pre-Institute.

If you are attending the Tuesday Pre-Institute and also the rest of the Institute, you will make your selection on the Agenda page during the registration process.

Materials Only

$55.00

This does not include attendance for any sessions.

Materials are made available online ONLY.  

Service Fee
A $5.00 service fee is included in the registration fee. 

Cancellation Terms
You may cancel your own registration at any time by logging back into this site. Directions on how to do so will be provided on the confirmation page at the end of the registration process and in your confirmation email.

Participant substitutions may be made at any time through the same process.

For cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. EST,April 28, 2017: Full refund minus a $25.00 processing fee.


For cancellations after 5:00 p.m. EST, April 28, 2017: No refunds will be issued.


*If you do not attend and do not cancel in accordance with the above guidelines, you will be responsible for the full registration fee.  

**Please note that you must also cancel directly with the Boston Park Plaza Hotel if you have made a room reservation.  Cancelling your conference registration will NOT cancel your room reservation.

    Returned Check Policy: -  
    In the event that your check is returned to the University of Connecticut for insufficient funds, you will be charged a fee of $25.00 in addition to your bank's fees.
