Note at this time we are NO longer accepting any business partners sponsorship or registrations. Contact us if you'd like to get on the waiting list.  Only "Institutional Members" (e.g. museums, colleges, universities, K-12) registration is open.

Join the Facilities Department of George Mason University on May 31st and June 1st for the 2017 VAPPA Conference.  It will include educational state agencies, universities, K-12 schools, and museums throughout Virginia. The conference starts on May 31st with campus tours and an evening reception, followed by an all-day educational seminar on June 1st.

This years Keynote speaker will be, Nancy J. Bechtol, who is the Director of Smithsonian Facilities (SF) at the Smithsonian Institution.  She manages all facilities engineering and management needs within the nineteen museums and research centers and the National Zoo that make up the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC and New York, utilizing an in-house workforce of over 1850 FTE and an operating budget of 340 million.
