Precision Medicine is a new concept whereby patient management is driven by patient and /or tumor genetics. Physicians and clinical care teams including clinical genetic counselors incorporate the results of genomic and/or pharmacogenomic testing to develop specific, patient-centered treatment plans. Attending this course will increase the learner’s knowledge of inheritance, genetics, pharmacogenetics, genetic testing and interpretation of these tests such that they may incorporate this new knowledge into patient diagnosis and treatment.  Breakout sessions will focus on genetic testing relevant to oncology, OB/GYN, and cardiovascular specialties.
