  • DUI “Wetlab” Standard Field Sobriety Testing (SFTS) and the BAC 
Request for volunteers interested in an afternoon of drinking. All for science, and the law!

The criminal law section of WSAMA is offering first-hand instruction on the Field Tests used by law enforcement in DUI investigations.To properly test impaired subjects we seek volunteers willing to drink alcohol under the supervision of the Washington State Patrol, and allow officers to test for impairment using standardized DUI field tests. The DUI testing would be viewed by WSAMA attendees. All volunteers would report by Noon on Thursday, April 27 and testing would occur beginning about 3:00 PM. Testing would conclude by 5:00 PM and volunteers would agree to be released when it is safe to do so.

On-line Registration Deadline: 12:00 pm on Monday, April 24

Deadline for Registrant List: Register and approve release of your information by 12:00 pm on Friday, April 21 to guarantee your name and company information on the attendee list.

Cancellations: Full refunds for cancellations will be made until Friday, April 14. After April 14, a refund will be made minus a $50 administration fee. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the conference. Please email cancellations to aenriquez@mrsc.org.
