Welcome to registration page for the 2017 Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation summer conservation courses!
Because the operation of the SMSC summer conservation courses requires extensive advanced planning, costs are incurred long before the start of the conference. Accordingly the following Cancellation and Refund Policy will apply:
For cancellations prior to April 1, 2017, you may receive a full refund. For cancellations after April 1 through April 15, 2017, there is a $250.00 cancellation fee. There are no refunds issued after April 15, 2017. Students must submit all refund requests in writing to:

A $250 deposit or full payment must be made to hold a position in the program. The full registration fee is due by May 15, 2017.
The following items are needed to complete your registration:
- Health insurance information. We will use the information you provided during your registration for the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment.
- Parent/Guardian electronic signature. Your parent/guardian must agree to several statements during the registration process. That person should be with you when you begin registering for the conference.
