Colorado Arrhythmia Symposium 2017

Purpose
To provide a forum where health care professionals can participate in discussions regarding therapies for patients with heart rhythm disturbances.

Educational Objectives
At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:

  • Apply the principles described in the latest guidelines for the management of atrial 
    fibrillation for the management of atrial fibrillation
  • Identify appropriate candidates for ICD implantation and ablation of ventricular 
    tachycardia
  • Identify appropriate patients who may benefit from left atrial appendage exclusion 
    and understand the role of rotor mapping as part of an ablation strategy for the 
    treatment of atrial fibrillation.
  • Describe use of recommended programming strategies to prevent inappropriate 
    ICD therapy and targeted use of defibrillation testing in patients with ICDs
  • Analyze appropriate indications for intracardiac lead extraction and alternative strategies for managing non-functioning leads
Registration Information
Your registration fee includes all scientific functions, welcome reception, breakfasts, break refreshments, and a lunch.

Cancellation and Refund Information

Cancellation/Refunds: The full conference tuition is refundable, less a 50% processing fee, if your cancellation is received in writing 2 weeks in advance. This processing fee is nonrefundable regardless of the reason for cancellation. Refunds will not be granted after this time or for non-attendance.

The Division of Cardiology/Electrophysiology reserves the right to cancel this conference in the event of an unforeseen circumstance or if the minimum acceptable registration is not attained. In the event of cancellation, the Division of Cardiology/Electrophysiology is obligated to refund the registration fee only.
