WELCOME

We invite you to this two and one-half day symposium focused on providing the latest advances in pediatric research and evidence-based practice. The interactive format emphasizes the practical application of current concepts for community-based pediatric health care providers. This annual learning event is designed for pediatricians, pediatric specialists, family physicians, and allied health professionals involved in the care of children and adolescents.

Continuing medical education credits are provided. Your participation helps to shape the educational experience for everyone in attendance. Hundreds of repeat participants have made this conference an annual training event. 

 
CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION

Children’s Mercy Hospital is accredited by the Missouri State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Children’s Mercy Hospital designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 17.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 17 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics' (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

This continuing medical education activity has been reviewed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is acceptable for a maximum of 17.00 AAP credits. These credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

All registrants will receive an email following the symposium.  This email will contain a link to an online evaluation form. Upon completion and receipt of your evaluation, you will receive a copy of your CME certificate via email.

    Note: Registration fees are waived for employees of Children's Mercy Hospital. Children's Mercy also has arrangements with the University of Kansas (KU) Department of Pediatrics and Children's Mercy Physician Business Partners (PBP) to waive registration fees for employees of the KU Department of Pediatrics and dues-paying members of PBP, respectively.
