There are 670 reasons why civic engagement on a local level has never been more relevant or vibrant in Europe.

In 24 European countries, 670 community foundations are helping to mobilise their local communities and are empowering citizens to find significant solutions to serious challenges. The European Community Foundation Initiative (ECFI) and UK Community Foundations (UKCF) want to build bridges between these vital organisations and support their networking and knowledge sharing.

The first European Conference of Community Foundations, entitled Building Bridges for Local Good, will take place in Cardiff, Wales, UK, on 11-12 September 2017 with plenty of time for networking during the day and in the evening.

Practitioners, donors, researchers, experts and other interested stakeholders involved in the field of community foundations are encouraged to participate in this conference.

Spaces are limited so we do encourage you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The conference takes place immediately prior to the UKCF Conference and delegates may wish to extend their stay to take in all or part of this biennial event (link at foot of the page).

We look forward to extending a warm Welsh welcome to you very soon.
