The SMU Social Impact Festival (SIF) 2017 is a week-long celebration of social innovation and impact in Singapore. The festival, which is open to the public, is hosted by the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at Singapore Management University, and will take place on SMU’s city campus.

The festival will feature inspiring and participatory events including workshops, fairs, panels and lunchtime talks by changemakers working in diverse fields including gender, tech, workplace happiness, consulting, education, photography, food, the environment, and entrepreneurship.

It leverages on SMU’s status as the first Ashoka Changemaker Campus in Asia and the Lien Centre for Social Innovation’s strengths in unmet social needs research and tri-sector collaboration, and aims to bring together partners and participants from diverse sectors to catalyse and inspire positive social change.

Each event is run by one of our partners, with each partner providing their unique content and event experience. The Lien Centre for Social Innovation will provide marketing, venue and backend support, and a common registration platform. As the events run independently, participants can choose their own adventure and select the events they wish to attend.
