Presenters
Joining us for the Conference are presenters from the Kansas House and Senate chairpersons for the Health and Human Services Committees, Representative Dan Hawkins and Senator Vickie Schmidt.  Other featured speakers include Melanie Simpson, PhD, RN Coordinator of the Pain Management Resource Team at KU Medical Center, advocacy expert Teresa L Anderson, EdD, MSN, RN, NE-BC of Omaha NE and Shannon Gregg, APRN-C of the Cotton O'Neil Neurology of Topeka.

Registration

We offer two ways to register – 1) as an individual and 2) as a group or school.

Individual Registration
Individuals seeking to participate and register on their own, not with a school or group, may register online by clicking Register Now at the right.

Group & School Registration
For schools of nursing and specialty groups seeking to participate in the event together as a group must register using the Group Registration Form and corresponding Group Payment Form below. Online registration is not an option. Please complete the registration form to identify the total number of students versus faculty participating along with payment information, and the registration list to identify each individual in your group by first and last name, address and type of registrant (faculty Member, faculty non-Member, student). Please submit both forms to our office for processing. We will communicate details about registration and the event to the individual identified as the faculty/group liaison on the forms.

Accreditation
Participants can receive 5.0 contact hours for participating in this activity.

The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

What is the Midwest Multistate Division? The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, namely the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative, the Midwest MSD Continuing Nursing Education Unit (CNE Unit) was formed, which is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of CNE, to address the educational needs of nurses in the Midwest region.
