Map and Directions

The focus of the course is an in-depth discussion on maturing the ExpertALERT database with the goal of producing accurate
automated diagnostics. The beginning of the course has an abbreviated overview of topics from EA-101; however the primary focus is fine tuning the machine internal design (MID) parameters, creating average plus sigma baseline data, and automated order normalization.

Materials are included. Classroom size is limited to 10 attendees.

This course is intended for experienced users of the ExpertALERT. Attendees should have experience with setting up data collection parameters and have collected at least 3 to 5 valid data sets on each machine. Upon completion, an attendee will have knowledge of how to optimize the database setup so the Expert System rule base can accurately identify faults in the machinery vibration.

Other topics covered in this course are:
  • MID setup for complex machines
  • Troubleshooting using off route data collection techniques
  • Automated diagnostic logic for rolling contact bearing wear
  • Setup and analysis of Impact demodulation data

During the three-day conference, attendees will get the opportunity to interact and collaborate with Azima DLI users as well as other users of the program from their industries.

Prerequisites: This course is intended for personnel who have previously attended the EA-101 course and who have recent experience in setting up basic machines in the ExpertALERT vibration program. One year of use with ExpertALERT is recommended.
