Summer Conferences at the University of Utah is happy to offer apartment style accommodations for your summer 2018 internship. While summer guests of are not required to have a meal plan, Benchmark Plaza is conveniently located next to the Chase N. Peterson Heritage Center, where you can eat at the dining hall and socialize in the common areas. The Benchmark Plaza is located a short walk from the TRAX light rail system, which provides easy access to downtown Salt Lake City. 

The rate is $33.00 per night.

Please be aware of the following reservation conditions:
  • 30 day Minimum Required
  • If your reservation is less than 30 consecutive days you will be contacted regarding whether or not your reservation can be accommodated. Reservations totaling less than 30 days may be subject to cancellation.
  • Initial non-refundable deposit of $650 is required to complete your lodging reservation.  Final deposit for your reservation is due by May 1, 2018.
  • *Upon registering for your accommodations, a non-refundable, one-time only $110.00 Administrative Fee and a $125.00 Damage Deposit will be charged in addition to the amount due for the reservation.

Your Damage Deposit will be refunded (check or credit card refund) after your departure if no additional charges are due i.e. damages, deep cleaning, lost keys, etc.  

All Summer Guests must be checked out by August 4th at 10 am.  If you need housing after August 4th we recommend you contact the on-campus hotel, University Guest House http://www.universityguesthouse.com/


CANCELLATION: If cancellation of your reservation becomes necessary, you may send written notice to the University of Utah Conference & Event Management department (cgrant@conferences.utah.edu). Cancellations made by 5 pm MDT Tuesday, May 1, 2018 will receive refunds minus the $650.00 initial deposit. Please note, cancellations received after May 1st will not be eligible for a refund. Should extenuating circumstances arise which result in your cancellation, exceptions to the cancellation policy can be made on a case by case basis. Please state your reason for cancellation in your written notice to University of Utah Conference & Event Management.
