Penny Heyns established herself as the world’s greatest female breaststroker of the 20th Century by becoming the only woman in Olympic history to win both the 100 and 200 meter breast- stroke events in Atlanta 1996, bronze in Sydney 2000 and by breaking a total of 14 individual world records during her career. It has become very apparent that what our swimmers/athletes need most is ‘Mental Toughness’ training. In light of this we have designed a new workshop aimed at addressing the Psychological aspect of training & competition as well as the skills required to develop Mental Toughness for peak performance. Penny will share her motivational stories, as well as provide tips for coaches & swimmers in the pool.
