The Commission will hold a one-day online seminar for membership organizations, labor organizations, and their political action committees (PACs) on June 6, 2018. Commission staff will conduct several technical workshops on the federal campaign finance laws affecting membership organizations, labor organizations, and their PACs. Workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as for those more experienced in campaign finance law.

Registrants can choose one of two options:
Full Day Webinar (Option 1)- which includes three sessions:  a morning session, Basics for Beginners, which will introduce federal campaign finance laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to those new to federal committees; and a two-part Member/Labor PAC Operations webinar in the afternoon, which will go into much more detail on fundraising and disclosure rules that apply to membership and labor organization PACs. This option is $80 and will give you access to all of the webinar sessions.
(Recommended if you have not previously attended an FEC workshop)

OR

Operations Only Webinars
 (Option 2)- for those more experienced in federal campaigns, includes just the two afternoon sessions. This option is $60 and will give you access to Member/Labor PAC Operations parts 1 & 2.

Registrants in both of the above options will be able to download electronic copies of the workshop materials in advance, and will receive additional instructions and technical information shortly before the event. Webinar Information - Workshops will be broadcast online to all attendees, who will see workshop slides, hear the presentations and be able to ask questions via live chat. Additional instructions and technical information will be provided to those who register for the webinar. Please note: the webinars are not recorded and cannot be viewed at a later date.

Workshop Materials - Participants will be able to download electronic copies of the workshop materials in advance.

Registration Information - The cost to participate is $80/Full Day webinar; $60/Operations Only webinar. Refunds (minus a $20 registration fee) will be made for all cancellations received by Friday, June 1, 2018; no refund will be made for cancellations received after that date.
