Food Vendor Jury for Shows Application 2018 Show Season


 This is for Specialty Food Vendors who wish to exhibit at Maine Crafts Guild Shows. 


 This is not an application for Professional Membership.
The fee for this application is $50; and is non-refundable.

Booth Fees
Booth prices vary with each show depending on booth size and location. Non-members pay $305.-$670. for our MDI show, $320.-$470. for Scarborough, and $400.-$530. for Brunswick. The Belfast show booths range from $320 - $450.


CRITERIA CONSIDERED BY THE JURY

Specialty food vendors need to be based in Maine with production taking place in Maine.  Quality ingredients, packaging, and marketing materials are essential.  Maine and locally sourced ingredients are encouraged but not essential.  Only products made by the person who is applying — or under his/her direct supervision — will be permitted at Maine Crafts Guild shows. Direct supervision means to be within an immediate distance and available to respond to the needs of helpers. The person applying provides explicit instructions; observes, reviews, and evaluates the performance of other persons and thereby has direct control over and professional knowledge and oversight of all work being done.


APPLICATION PROCESS for Specialty Food Vendors only 

This application must be completed in one session. You cannot save this application after partially completing it with the intention of returning later to finish it.

You will be asked to supply personal and professional information, to upload digital images of your work (see below for details), and to pay the nonrefundable $50 application fee.

  • Applications are reviewed throughout the year by our Standards Committee.

  • Applicants who are accepted as "Speciality Food Vendors" are eligible to submit applications to any of our shows in the year they are juried.

Note: Having been accepted as a non-member exhibitor at an MCG show does not carry any guarantee of acceptance by the jury to exhibit in shows in any subsequent year.



     
PROFESSIONAL IMAGES

Required: Three  (3) digital images of your  product.  Maximum file size is 10mb. 

Required: One (1) digital image of your booth, as it would look at our shows. If you have never participated in a show that required a booth please send an image of your set up from a trade show or your product display as it might be shown at a Maine Craft Guild show.
