New This Conference: "Unified Response 2019" Tabletop Exercise Focusing on Fostering Mutual Aid
Imagine driving up to the scene of a hazardous material release to see that its edge makes a perfect line, stopping right as it reaches your neighbor’s jurisdiction.  Luckily the hazardous material has decided to disobey the laws of physics, making your response slightly easier.  Unfortunately, oil and hazardous material releases know no jurisdictional boundaries.  It’s also quite possible that your closest neighbors (whether you are a Tribe, county, municipality, or facility) may be best positioned and suited to provide mutual aid during a time of emergency.  This exercise will discuss the emergency response process, with a focus on fostering and promoting mutual aid between Tribes and their neighboring LEPCs and industry partners.  Click here to get additional information about the Unified Response 2019 Tabletop Exercise.
