Topic: As Federal, State and local governments work to reduce carbon emissions through programs and legislation aimed at carbon reduction and passing more stringent building codes, the Association of Professional Energy Managers invites you to attend our fall forum where we will examine current and potential future legislation in both Oregon and Washington and learn more about the possible impacts and opportunities for utilities and commercial businesses. In addition, we will explore strategies businesses can employ to reduce carbon emissions within their organization. After attending the fall forum, you will have gained insights to better understand carbon reduction initiatives in our region, your carbon footprint, and the long term affect it could have on our region and your business.

Our speakers will cover the following topics:

  • Washington and Oregon state carbon reduction policy developments
  • Available resources and funding for carbon reduction measures and initiatives
  • Potential impacts and opportunities of de-carbonization to be aware of
