Map and Directions

Join us at Borderview Research Farm on Thursday, July 25 for our 12th Annual Crops & Soils Field Day (click to view flyer). Our theme this year is "Twelve Years of Research - But Wait, There's More!"  Receive up-to-date research information, as well as view many research plots and experiments.

In the morning, we will tour the research experiments and hear about results from the NWCS team. Afternoon workshops will allow you to spend time learning about specific topics with this year's afternoon intensives to include:

Hemp and Hops - general agronomics, research results, irrigation, fertility management, and pest management.
Cover Crops - techniques for seeding, variety evaluations, roll and crimp management, and benefits to the soil.
Getting Started with Grazing - setting up a grazing plan, evaluating land needs, watering systems, fencing, and paddock management.
Beans & Corn - selecting varieties for the food grade market, growing specialty crops, processing, and handling.
Precision Agriculture and UVM Innovative Equipment - with Scott Magnan's Custom Service

But wait - there's more! In addition to exhibitors and Tasting Tent vendors, we will have a "Getting Started with Grazing" tent where we will have information and products on display, and Scott Magnan's Custom Service will be there sharing information on Precision Agriculture. A BBQ lunch and Ben & Jerry's ice cream will also be available.
