Map and Directions
The Agile Testing Series is a 3 day series of classes that can be taken as a set or individually.

Course Overview
This 3 day series of classes covers the essential principles and practices for testing in an Agile context. It is structured as a series of 1-day classes so that you can take all three days, or just choose one or two. The sequence of classes is:

Day 1: Adapting to Agile
Participants experience an Agile transition through the WordCount simulation. By the end of the day participants have a visceral understanding of Agile, and in particular the shifting role of Test/QA in Agile development.

Day 2: Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) in Practice
Participants learn the essential elements of Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), a practice in which the whole team collaborates on creating acceptance tests as part of the feature/story discussions, and in which those tests are then automated during implementation.

Day 3: Exploratory Testing in an Agile Context
Participants learn how to integrate Session-Based Exploratory Testing within a sprint or iteration to gain additional feedback on the software under development and discover previously unknown risks and vulnerabilities.

Not sure which days are best for you? See additional information about this series of courses on the Quality Tree Software, Inc. website.
Each day is priced separately so you can choose 1, 2, or all 3 days.

From now until March 31, enjoy Early Bird pricing of $399 for each day. (After March 31, prices go up to $599 per day.)

In addition, take advantage of group discounts. Register 2 or more participants for the same class, at the same time, and receive 20% off the fee for that class.
About the Instructors
Elisabeth Hendrickson, President and Founder of Quality Tree Software, Inc., is a recognized thought leader in Agile Testing and a frequently-invited speaker at major conferences. She enjoys working on Agile/XP projects where programmers are test-infected and tend to value her obsession with testing. Prior to founding her company, Elisabeth held positions as a Tester, Test Manager, Test Automation Manager, and Quality Engineering Director. You can find more about Elisabeth's thoughts on Agile, Testing, and Agile Testing on her blog, TestObsessed.

Dale Emery has worked in the software industry since 1980 as a developer, manager, process steward, and consultant. In 2000, he became interested in Agile Development techniques, and has since applied the Agile values of communication, feedback, simplicity, courage, and respect to all areas of software development and software process improvement, especially to the practices of leadership, management, and team effectiveness.
You can find out more about Dale on his website,

Elisabeth and Dale have been collaborating and co-teaching since 2004. Both are excellent instructors on their own, but there is something magical about the classes they co-teach.
