Summary
Olympic National Park provides a fantastic variety of options for landscape photographers: lush rain forests, crystal clear lakes, sandy beaches, and beautiful mountain trails. Because of this diversity, the park is often considered to be three parks in one.  It's three distinct ecosystems - rugged mountains, Pacific coastline, and old-growth and temperate rain forests - provide habitat for an enormous variety of flora and fauna. The park stretches over 922,651 acres and includes 73 miles of coastline. Ninety-five percent of the land is designated as Wilderness.

Students will spend three days shooting in a variety of locations throughout the park. Knowledgeable and experienced professional photographers, Varina and Jay Patel, will be available to answer questions, offer guidance and advice, and help with equipment.

Tentative locations for this Photo Tour include: Hoh Rain Forest, Ruby Beach, Sol Duc Falls, Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, Second Beach, and Third Beach.
