Welcome!  Don’t miss one of the most dynamic IANDS conferences ever!

About the conference

Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) are profound experiences that some people have when they come close to death: floating out of their body, passing through a tunnel to a brilliant light, meeting deceased relatives, having a life review.  NDEs pose a real mystery to science: Are they objectively real? How can they help us understand consciousness and the brain? NDEs also are a mystery to people who are trying to understand spirituality: Do they reveal the meaning of life? Do they provide insights into our deepest nature? Do they explain the spiritual message of the world's religions?  This conference will explore these mysteries from the perspective of the near-death experiencers themselves and from the perspectives of science and spirituality.
