SESSION 5: Your Practice, As a Gift
We all hold the power to affect change and to greatly impact the hearts and minds of those around us. This can be through very simple gestures of a reassuring smile or a quick embrace, or very ambitious projects that change the world. Our yoga practice teaches us that we care for ourselves first so that we can be of greater service
to others, and our presence, our light, holds potential and creates opportunity for beauty. Learn now how to offer one of your greatest gifts, your physical and spiritual self, as a partner in the practice of partner yoga and Thai Yoga Massage. This guided practice will let you experience the comfort, joy and connective power of practice with a partner. Whether you are providing support in a strength pose, succumbing in a deep assisted stretch, or experiencing the magnifying effects of breath work in unison, yoga with a partner brings us full circle in the art of nurturing and being nurtured. We will
continue down this path of giving and receiving healing touch as we experience Thai yoga massage. Thai massage is the practice of stretching and massage linked together; often called "yoga massage" simply because the body is placed in yoga-like poses. Pressing and compressing the body's muscles into relaxation eases tension, stress and pain. The stretching that follows expands on your flexibility and promotes the healthiest body and mind you can imagine. Thai yoga massage is an experience that will deepen your practice and open your mind to the teacher within.
