Introduction

The OpenSG User Group (OpenSGug) was formed for users to get information on the progress of the Open Smart Grid (OSG) issues and to share their project experiences. The user group holds four face-to-face meetings each year. Recognized experts share their insights and resolve key technical issues. Each meeting also includes pre-conference "boot-camp" and social networking opportunities.

 

Who Should Attend
Utilities that are using standards-based integration to meet their business challenges will find this conference invaluable. Project managers, system architects, business and IT managers, and control center personnel will all benefit from this meeting.

The meeting is open to all current or potential OpenSG users – you do not have to be a OpenSGug member to attend. Attendees gain firsthand access to OSG experts and come away with new insights on the power of OSG activities.

Boot Camp Sessions Only (Half Day) - Early Bird (through June 17): $100 / $150 starting June 18 through onsite
* Full conference registration includes access to Boot Camp and all sessions and all events throughout the conference, including the boat cruise networking event on Wednesday evening.

Special Event: Casino Royale Networking Boat Cruise



Join your conference peers for an evening of networking, food and fun touring the local waters of scenic Vancouver.   The networking boat cruise aboard the Queen of Diamonds is on Wednesday July 20, 2011 from 6:30pm-9:30pm and includes an onboard fun “casino” for the guests. This event is complimentary for full conference attendees and a guest.
