Litigation in California - It's Everybody's Business

For years, California has been a worldwide leader in business and innovation and in lititgation. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this special event to ensure that California remains a “Golden State” for business – and a leader in achieving balanced litigation reforms. This full day summit will discuss California’s legal climate and its effects on economic growth by highlighting the legal challenges that in-state and out-of-state businesses encounter in California, analyzing the effectiveness of recent legal reforms, and identifying new priorities for change.

Highlights include:

  • Keynote by California Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr.
  • General Counsels panel featuring four prominent general counsels
  • Discussion on the Ninth Circuit with active Judges
  • Diverse panels debating federalism, class actions, and employment litigation

Registration and breakfast will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and the program will follow from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
