Building Operator Certification (BOC) is for individuals with two or more years of experience in building operations and maintenance. BOC Level I training includes nearly 80 hours of classroom and project work in building systems maintenance. Each course in the training series is completed in a one-day training session except for HVAC Systems and Controls, a two-day course. Typically, courses are scheduled one per month over a seven-month period.
