Jewish Yoga for An Awakened Life: A 10 Session Intensive
Do you wish to be the message, both on and off your mat? Do you want to embody qualities of kindness, patience, compassion, courage, and joy in your daily life with skill from moment to moment, no matter what arises? Rooting in the heart of our Loving nature, we can. At the heart of both Jewish mysticism and yoga teachings, the practice is Love. How do we embody love in everything we do? How do we come back if we fall out of the pose? Come immerse in an intensive 10 session training created to help us become more skillful in the art of embodying love, forgiveness and greater love in all that we do.
In 10 bi-weekly four hour immersions we’ll employ Jewish spiritual teachings to guide us in refining how spiritual qualities live inside of our minds and hearts and either help or hinder our compassionate action in the world. We’ll learn how to recognize and work with what stops us from residing in the fullness of our loving nature. Through specially designed yoga practices and mindfulness meditation sits, we’ll work with these qualities in our bodies. After each session you will receive assignments to practice in your daily life keyed to the themes covered in the session, creating a deepening integration of the work into every moment.
No prior knowledge of Judaism or Hebrew is required. Just a willing heart, an open mind and a body ready to practice. Come and see!
