In January 2013, IDPH began transitioning to an online platform for electronically managing its grant programs. In FY14, many of IDPH’s grant funding opportunities will now be managed through this new online platform, called EGrAMS,
EGrAMS is an Electronic Grants Administration & Management System to aid users in the grants process. The System is password protected and only authorized users can access the system. This tool allows both grantors and grantees to interact in a web based setting, enabling greater awareness, accountability, and analysis throughout the life cycle of a grant. Applications will be created, submitted, scored, approved/denied, monitored, evaluated and closed out through this system. Stay tuned to IDPH’s funding opportunities page to determine which grant programs will be offered through EGrAMS, and which ones will continue to be offered through paper application.
