Course Description
The 5-day Scalable WLAN Design and Implementation (SWDI) 8 course leverages concepts introduced in the Implementing Aruba WLAN (IAW) v8 course to advance your expertise in building complex enterprise WLAN networks.

This course teaches the knowledge, skills and practical experience required to set up and configure advanced features on Aruba WLAN utilizing the AOS 8.X architecture and features. This course includes lectures and labs which provide the technical understanding and hands-on experience of configuring a redundant Mobility Master with two controllers and two APs. Participants will learn how install a redundant Aruba WLAN network with clustering while using many features like Multizone for guest access, voice optimization and tunneled node. This course includes the AirWave management system and troubleshooting commands.

The SWDI course provides the underlying material required to prepare candidates for the Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) V8 certification exam.

Successful completion of IAW v8 and SWDI v8 classes prepare students for the Aruba Certified Mobility Professional Exam (ACMP) v8 offered through PearsonVue test centers.

  
Pre-requisites 
Students are encouraged to attend the IAW v8 course and pass the ACMA v8 exam before attending the SWDI v8 course. 
  • New candidates, the Implementing Aruba WLANS (IAW) v8 class is a pre-requisite for the ACMP v8 certification.
  • Existing ACMP v6.4 certified individuals, the SWDI v8 can be attended to gain the knowledge to upgrade their certification to v8, by passing the ACMP v8 exam.  The ACMA v8 certification is not required.
  • Experience in designing networks is strongly recommended.
