Summary:   On May 18, 2009, Washington Governor Christine Gregoire signed Senate Bill 5688 affording registered couples all of the rights afforded to married couples in the state. What does this mean for those couples who are currently registered? How can attorneys help their same-sex-couple clients in differing areas of practice?

This course will provide legal professionals with an understanding of the recent changes enacted by the legislature and developments to watch for both federally and locally.
