Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist

Drawing on her impressive reporting experience over several decades, Pulitzer Prize-winning Sheryl WuDunn will discuss the oppression faced by women AROUND THE WORLD and efforts by a growing corps of social entrepreneurs whose work has helped transform societies.  She will share highlights from Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, which was co-written by her husband, New York Times columnist Nicholas D. Kristof."

With her husband, Nicholas D. Kristof, she has co-authored two best-selling books about Asia: Thunder from the East and China Wakes.  Ms. WuDunn, the first Asian-American to win a Pulitzer Prize, has worked at The New York Times, Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust.  She recently has been leading a multi-media endeavor for Half the Sky, including a web-based game, a documentary series and a TV special. She will soon return to the world of investing and philanthropy.
