A Forum for Industrial 3D Metrology Professionals

A remarkable trend of the past decade in the manufacturing community is that 3D metrology equipment is no longer entrenched in quality control departments. Measurement systems, and specially non-contact point cloud digitizing devices, are now widely used at every phase of the product engineering cycle, helping to prevent costly mistakes early in the development cycle and accelerating time to market. Since the first release of PolyWorks/Inspector™ back in January 2000, InnovMetric is at the core of this movement, having developed critical analysis tools and numerous “metrology-based” problem-solving techniques that are now daily used by the largest OEMs worldwide in the automotive, aeronautic, consumer product, and energy generation industries.

You may already be an accomplished 3D metrology professional, or a manufacturing engineer or fabrication manager wanting to evaluate the benefits of 3D metrology for your industrial process. The International PolyWorks User Meeting (IPUM) is a unique forum for you to quickly acquire strategic knowledge in 3D metrology by sharing experiences with colleagues facing similar challenges, learning about real-life applications of 3D metrology, and reviewing new point cloud digitizing or portable probing equipment showcased by leading hardware manufacturers. For PolyWorks users, IPUM is also a great opportunity to learn more about the upcoming PolyWorks V12 version through specific product presentations and dedicated workshops.

Unveiling PolyWorks V12
At the opening of the event, Marc Soucy, President of InnovMetric Software Inc., will unveil the new PolyWorks V12 software suite and demonstrate its most prominent tools. He will also share his views on the future of 3D Metrology technologies within the manufacturing world and discuss the new opportunities that PolyWorks V12 spawns.

PolyWorks Applications Plenary Sessions
This is the main event, where users from various organizations explain the role of PolyWorks in their daily work, and how they generate time and cost savings in their manufacturing processes. You can learn from their real-life experience and bring this valuable knowledge back to your own organization.

PolyWorks V12 Workshops
Attend workshop sessions on the new PolyWorks V12 tools and get up to speed with the latest release of the software. Four group sessions are offered every day by our PolyWorks Application Specialists. Why pay for update training when you have the opportunity to quickly learn the newest tricks at no extra cost?

3D Metrology Pavilion
This is where all major hardware manufacturers gather to demonstrate  the latest point cloud digitizing and portable probing equipment. The latest 3D laser scanners, white-light systems, articulated arms, hard probes, laser trackers, optical trackers, and photogrammetry devices will be on display. This is your chance to compare systems and to learn which one best meets your needs.

Doctor’s Office
This is a unique opportunity to meet with a PolyWorks Application Specialist face to face, and to obtain direct answers to your PolyWorks challenges. A doctor’s appointment will help you become more productive in your daily work. Come into the office with all your questions, we have the answers.
