Map and Directions

Due to an overwhelming response to our last workshop, we are offering the workshop again in April in Chicago.

Building and maintaining an ESI data map is the cornerstone of an effective program for managing ESI.
In this one day, interactive workshop, you and key members of your organization will learn:

Why you need an ESI data map

Who should be involved in the process of creating an ESI data map

What types of information an ESI data map includes

A step by step process of how to create an ESI data map

Whether a discussion of whether a data map is priviliged and tactical and strategic uses for the data map
How an ESI data map will help you define information governance for your organization

Who Should Attend?
The workshop is designed for attendance by three (3) members of your organization.  We recommend a representative from legal, IT and records attend together to understand the collaboration required to create and maintain a viable ESI data map.  The cost of the workshop includes attendance by three people, workshop materials and the surveys and questionnaires necessary to build your own ESI data map.

This is a workshop, not a seminar, and is set up for attendance by no more than four (4) organizations.  The workshop is conducted in an interactive format, with opportunities for participants to understand what other organizations are doing and how they are managing ESI, and to ask questions specific to their organization.

What Will I Take Away?
All participants will receive an electronic copy of the workshop materials and the surveys and questionnaires for use with IT and legal to gather the information for each type of ESI within the organization, including email, instant messaging, file and print servers, Sharepoint, ERP software (SAP/Oracle).
