Conference Highlights

This first-of-its-kind conference will focus on innovative methods for scaling effective social programs. A mix of philanthropists, foundation officers, wealth advisors and social sector leaders will join together to explore ways of financing and implementing the growth of high-impact nonprofits.

Knowledge Sessions
Participate in dynamic break out discussions and learn what experts have to say in sessions devoted to (1) evaluating, (2) planning, and (3) funding scaling of top-performing nonprofits. Also hear highlights of recent developments in scaling, including efforts by the White House Office of Social Innovation and other leading intermediaries, evaluators and capacity builders.

Business Plan Competition
See the Competition finalists present early stage and mezzanine stage growth plans and respond to questions from a panel of judges.  Winners to be announced in each category at the Closing Plenary.

Investment Fair
Join with funders and investors to hear presentations from nonprofits with strong evidence and readiness to scale in the areas  of youth and education, health, and poverty alleviation.  Following the presentations, convene in a safe learning environment to discuss the nonprofits’ growth plans and sign up for teams that will review the organizations for funding over the next 3-4 months.


Breakout Sessions in Specific Program Areas

Learn what types of scaling activities are currently taking place in youth and education, poverty alleviation, health, and impact investing. Discuss ways to implement more high-quality,evidence-based scaling efforts and identify options to work collaboratively.
