The USTA Tennis Teachers Conference (TTC) will bring together 500 of the world's greatest tennis teaching professionals, coaches, learning experts, and tennis innovators to share ideas and network about the changing nature of the tennis industry.

US OPEN TICKETS AND GROUNDS ADMISSION

Included in your confirmation email are US Open Ticket (Arthur Ashe Stadium) and Grounds Admission order forms for your use. These forms must be received by our ticket office by June 16, 2010.  Reproduced copies will not be accepted.  There will be a $25.00 shipping and handling fee for all ticket orders ($40.00 for international).  If purchasing both, tickets to Arthur Ashe and Grounds passes, submit both forms together to eliminate a second shipping and handling fee.  The tickets will be FedEx to you at the address you provide on the order form.  Signature required upon delivery.

The conference hotel is the GRAND HYATT NEW YORK, adjacent to NYC's historic Grand Central Station.

Airport Transportation

Visit the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for all modes of transportation to and from the area airports at http://www.panynj.gov or use the services below.

New York Airport Service at (212) 875-8200 or www.nyairportservice.com operates bus service to 42nd Street and Park Avenue (hotel is on the opposite corner) from all three New York City area airports, La Guardia, Newark and JFK airports.

Transportation to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens

Bus Service

Your TTC registration badge will allow you to travel on the bus transportation provided by the USTA between the days of August 28th – 31st.  There will be additional bus transportation passes available for purchase (for guests) via the USTA registration desk. These additional passes will be $25 each.

 

Subway Service

You may wish to take the subway to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from Grand Central Station.  The Number 7 MTA subway line goes directly to the USTA BJKNTC every 10-20 minutes.  The cost is $2.25 each way and the ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

 

Taxi Service

Taxis are available between the Grand Hyatt New York and the USTA BJKNTC.  The one-way cost is approximately $25.00 to $30.00.  Taxi service from the USTA BJKNTC to the GRAND HYATT NEW YORK is available on a limited basis. 

Programming at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center 
On Sunday, August 29, we will travel to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center for the on court sessions. Special bus transportation will be provided beginning at 12noon. Food and beverage vendors will be open at the USTA BJKNTC.

The on-court sessions are scheduled approximately 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Since it could be hot that day, we encourage you to wear tennis clothing and to bring water, sunscreen and a hat. Additionally, please be advised that all bags will be checked upon entering the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. We recommend you carry as little as possible with you. In the event of rain, these sessions will take place at GRAND HYATT NEW YORK.


TTC “Night at the US Open” Reception
The USTA Tennis Teachers Conference is proud to host a reception for all registered attendees on Opening Night of the US Open, Monday, August 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Held at the Corporate Hospitality Pavilion located in the new state-of-the art Indoor Tennis Facility, light snacks and refreshments will be served where everyone can mix and mingle with friends and colleagues.

Only registered TTC attendees with badges may attend.  Additional passes for guests are not available.  We appreciate your cooperation. 


Arthur Ashe Kids Day
 

The US Open is just around the corner, and we hope you’ll join us as a volunteer at this year’s Arthur Ashe Kids Day – Saturday, August 28 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.  We fully expect 25,000 children and adults for our day of interactive games and activities, along with the CBS stadium show featuring big-name musical talent and the best tennis players in the world. 

Gates to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center grounds open at 10:00 a.m.  A ticket is necessary to enter the Arthur Ashe Stadium for the stadium show beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for loge reserved seats and $10 for general admission promenade.  Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-866-OPEN-TIX or 1-866-673-6849.
