Join us for the 2017 American Hop Convention as we journey across the Oregon TR‘ALE’ in beautiful Bend, Oregon.  Majestic, snow-capped peaks adorn the high-desert skyline of this former mill town, turned adventure playground. Attendees will enjoy a robust convention program that celebrates the future of the hop industry while honoring our history.  Learn the results of hops research projects, share your own oral history, discover how to apply advances in precision agriculture, and hear the insights of industry experts. These are among some of the highlights to look forward to during this year's gathering! Every great convention includes amazing beer!  So, in recognition of Bend’s abundant world-class breweries, we'll trek down our own version of the Oregon TR’ALE’ sampling some of Central Oregon’s finest beer.

We value our sponsorship support and look forward to your participation in this year's event!  Please click the link below for complete sponsorship and advertisement information.  Exhibitors will select table space from a diagram under Agenda items during registration. A hop convention is only as good as the beer it serves ... so, help make our convention GREAT! The American Hop Convention is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your brewery’s beer. A mixture of styles is appreciated, from flagships to seasonal and specialty brews. Beer may be in bottles or cans and delivered to the hotel.

Oregon TR'ALE' Participating Sponsors

•  Crux Fermentation Project – Brewmaster, Larry Sidor
Crux is always in pursuit of the next great beer – beer that defies taste profiles with its complexity and creativity. The brewery is designed to allow for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation, oak barrel aging, wild yeast strains and experimental hops. Crux Fermentation Project is at the intersection of Bend’s four quadrants.

•  Wild Ride Brew Co. – Brewmaster, Paul Bergeman

Wild Ride Brewing is a production brewery and Tap Room located in the heart of downtown Redmond.  The brewery’s Wild Ride began when the idea of creating an awesome brewery came alive amongst a group of hometown, life-long friends.

•  Sunriver Brewing Co. – Head Brewer, Brett Thomas

The Sunriver Brewing Company originally began in The Village at Sunriver as a family-owned pub that served great food and brewed its own beer. The mountain resort community of Sunriver, Oregon was selected as the natural location for the brewery because Sunriver boasts some of the nation’s purest natural water, which originates in the shadow of the Cascade Range’s Mt. Bachelor.

Deschutes Brewery –  Brewmaster, Brian Faivre

Deschutes Brewery believes that Good Beer Brings People and that’s why every one of their beers is crafted with the simple purpose of helping people spend meaningful time with each other.  As a family and employee-owned brewery in Bend, Deschutes believes every pint of beer worth brewing is worth sharing—with friends, family, and even the stranger you just met on the barstool next to you.  And every Deschutes Brewery pint shared has a healthy dose of community, experimentation, and ingenuity.

Worthy Brewing Co. – Head Brewer, Dustin Kellner

Worthy Brewing converts snowmelt, hops, yeast and barley into the world’s happiest beverage at their 60,000 barrel capacity brewery on the east side of Bend.  WBC is known for its HopCentricity and believes that hops are the life blood of the brewery.  While they love barley, yeast and cool, cool water, too . . . hops get their heart pumping extra hard.  Worthy loves the connection between the “noble flower” and the Old World, the New World, The Valley, and Oregon State and The Future.

•  10 Barrel Brewing – Brewmaster, Jimmy Seifrit

10 Barrel started back in 2006 with three guys in Bend, Oregon who shared one simple mindset; brew beer, drink beer, and have fun doing it.  The founders boast that they brew beer that they would want to drink for the lifestyle we want to live; big IPA’s, crazy sours, and beers to crush.
