Dr. Seth B. Fabian holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Columbia University, a Master’s in Italian Studies and a Bachelor’s (Summa cum laude) in Medieval Studies from the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses on natural philosophy and ethics in medieval literature. His dissertation examined the science and ethics of the Divine Comedy based on a translation and exposition of a work written in response to Dante by a 14th-century professor of astronomy. Dr. Fabian regularly presents at conferences focusing on medieval debates over free will and determinism. He has taught Italian language at Columbia University and the University of Notre Dame and now teaches World History and Art History at Holy Family High School in Broomfield.
