RADIATION SAFETY OFFICER TRAINING

Troxler's Radiation Safety Officer Training Course offers advanced training based on current NRC and US DOT regulations for individuals responsible for radiation safety and regulation implementation within their organizations.  The 8-hours course runs from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and offers comprehensive coverage of radiological practices, regulations, licensing, leak testing, transportation, personnel monitoring, record keeping and accident response.  The course also satisfies US DOT 49CFR172, subpart H (HAZMAT).  A Radiation Safety Officer course is mandated by several states and encouraged by all licensing agencies.  A RSO manual will be provided for course work and as a reference tool along with a certification of course attendance.  The cost is $395 per person.

*Attendees of the RSO Course must have previously completed a certified Nuclear Gauge Safety Training course.
