Training Instructor: Dr. Aubrey Malphurs

Outreach Magazine recently selected his book, Nuts and Bolts of Church Planting, as one of the twenty top resources for 2012. Dr. Malphurs planted his first church in 1972. He has also pastored two churches in Dallas, Texas, while teaching at Dallas Seminary. Since 1997, he has devoted his time to teaching and leadership of The Malphurs Group, his church consulting practice. He also serves on the board of the Society for Church Consulting.

Learn from Dr. Malphur's experience how to restore churches to growth and vitality through church consulting. This unique, training program equips you to conduct full-scale consultations and prepares you for your independent Level 5 consulting project, which itself leads to Society certification


Dr. Malphurs will build this training around his book, Advanced Strategic Planning, A New Model for Church and Ministry Leaders. Participants will gain the most from this training by reading the book before the training.

The class schedule will be 8:30am-4:30pm each day with breaks in the morning, for lunch, and afternoon.

  • Registration fee includes:
    Instruction, training materials, light breakfast and lunch each day of training.  Each student is responsible for any other meals not included as indicated above, transportation, and accommodations during training.

    Registration fees must be paid at time of registration using either a VISA or MasterCard credit card.  50%  Partial Payment to reserve a training seat is acceptable. However, registration fees must be paid in full by the end of the last day of training on June 6, 2012.
