Our team of practicing emergency medicine providers and skilled educators has developed a program to improve your skills and knowledge to help you succeed in the Emergency Department. Our faculty will be available throughout the weekend to answer your questions and improve your experience.
There are few options available for PAs& NPs to gain specific training in emergency medicine. Many residnecy programs require one year or more to complete and require major life disruptions which are often unacceptable for today’s busy professional. Some didactic program avaiable are large lecture hall production where you do not get the individual attention of the faculty or feel comfortable asking those important questions you might have.
The CMR program is different. Our practicing PA/NP/MD providers are there to answer your questions in our small classroom environment that is designed to be like your PA or NP classroom.
CMR is excited to produce this unique program that will help you gain or maintain emergency medicine knowledge you need to succeed in this specialized practice.
The American College of Emergency Physicians states that PAs working in the Emergency Department should have or acquire specific experience or specialty training in emergency care.
The NCCPA has launched a new voluntary specialty certification program. Initially the program will include five specialties; emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, nephrology and psychiatry. Our program will help you meet the needs for emergency medicine certification.
