PANTHER PARENT AMBASSADORS
The Office of Parent and Family Resources is committed to keeping our parents informed about Pitt programs and services. We strive to strengthen relationships and form partnerships between parents and the University. That is why we have created Panther Parent Ambassadors. Parent Ambassadors will assist and enhance parent programming in regional areas as well as on campus, and create hospitable parent communities as their time permits.
The mission of Panther Parent Ambassadors is to strengthen relationships with the University by assisting and enhancing programs and resources for University of Pittsburgh parents and students.
Parent Ambassadors will receive:
Freshmen Summer Send-offs are one of the ways that Parent Ambassadors will share their experience and “Pitt Parent Expertise” with incoming freshmen students and their parents. These casual, comfortable, events are held in regional areas where Pitt has concentrations of incoming freshmen, and are held in conjunction with a regional Pitt Alumni Club.

In addition, Ambassadors may assist with on-campus activities such as behind-the-scenes research facility tours, Parent Panel Discussions/Webinars, Parent and Family Orientation, and Family Weekend. Interested Ambassadors should contact the Parent Liaison to inquire about any of these opportunities at email@example.com or by calling 412-624-8548.
Membership Fee: $50 per year, per parent, rolling basis
