(evening reception Wednesday, December 10)
Loews Madison Hotel, Washington, D.C.
In the nation’s capital, thought leaders spend a great deal of time diagnosing problems and debating their causes in different policy silos. Across the globe, the public sector, private sector and individuals are developing solutions to these problems and at Farm Journal Foundation we believe every individual can have a role to play given the proper platform. The 2014 Farm Journal Forum is dedicated to highlighting solutions that will help position our industry globally to confront major challenges and leverage opportunities arising from changes in our food and agriculture system.
The Forum begins with an evening reception on Wed., Dec. 10, and kicks off with a newsmaker breakfast on Thurs., Dec. 11, followed by a full day of high-level speakers. Mark your calendars for this important event date.
In 1997, the first Farm Journal Forum was held in Washington, D.C. It was created because Farm Journal Editor Sonja Hillgren knew it was critical that American agriculture take an informed stand on the political issues that would shape the future of the industry. More than a decade later, this event is still a key gathering where high-level agribusiness executives, farmers, financiers and government leaders meet to learn about and discuss the emerging issues, agricultural policy, national trends and international markets.
