Eric Nelson is a Technical Agronomist, covering the southern half of North Dakota and the same swath across northern Minnesota. Thirteen years as a technical agronomist have provided an intense, often fast-paced, experience and education in production agriculture. Technical knowledge, coupled with commitment to serve customers in a timely and professional manner, have led to strong relationships with key growers and dealers adding value and support to the DEKALB and Asgrow brands. Eric grew up in the Red River Valley, attended North Dakota State University for both his B.S. and his M.S. degrees and attended Michigan State University for a Ph.D. in Crop and Soil Sciences.

Jim also started working with different cover crop mixtures and has monitored the impact different cover crops have had on soil moisture utilization, soil nutrient levels and soil salinity levels. Jim received his MS and BS in Agronomy from South Dakota State University.
