Hear from top speakers Missy Bauer and Tommy Grisafi.

Missy Bauer, Farm Journal Field Agronomist, joined the Farm Journal Test Plots in January 2010. Missy is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in crop and soil sciences. She also has a master's from Purdue University in agronomy. Her and her husband's independent crop consulting business, B&M Crop Consulting, Inc., is based in Coldwater, Mich., and she works closely with farmers in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. Missy has also worked closely with Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie for almost 10 years.

  Michelle Vigna is the Area Business Manager for Monsanto's DEKALB Asgrow team in Northern Indiana. She began her career with Monsanto in 2002 as Production Trainee and Seed Quality Supervisor, working in foundation seed corn production in Hawaii and then Iowa. Prior to her current role, she was previously the Systems Launch Manger for the Roundup Ready Xtend Crop System in US Product Management and Marketing. Michelle grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Eastern Illinois and holds degrees in Crop Sciences and Agronomy from the University of Illinois and Iowa State University, respectively, and a Masters of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. 
           

Tommy Grisafi is a commodity risk management advisor at Advance Trading based out of DeMotte, Ind. He developed an interest in managing risk in 1990 when he attended a high school class field trip to the Chicago Board of Trade. Tommy became a recognized member of the CBOT and CME group on his 21st birthday and has maintained this status for 21 years. In addition to his position as a risk management consultant and an independent trader, he also operates "Ag Squawk," a weekly round table discussion among agriculture industry leaders and enjoys public speaking at farm meetings and events.
