Scholastic Media Association is proud to host the original, tried and true, level-one broadcasting "camp" from ASB Workshops. Perfect for the first-time broadcast teacher, or a veteran who wants to recharge the batteries. It's the perfect blend of theory and practice, with inspiring sessions in the morning, and challenging, hands-on assignments in the afternoons.

JUST ANNOUNCED!!! This workshop can be used as three hours of Graduate Credit towards Drury University's HFA646 Broadcasting for Teachers. Deadline to apply for Drury program is Friday, July 14th and more info.

Earn hours for Professional Development! Thirty workshop hours will be compiled and applied toward the Media Education Certificate Program offered as a collaborative effort of Mount Wachusett Community College and Scholastic Media Association (SMA). The Certificate Program will consist of guest lectures and workshops presented throughout the SMA year. Upon successful completion of ten hours, the workshop certificates will be awarded by Mount Wachusett Community College.

Payment Instructions

  • The cost for the 4-day workshop including housing and many meals will be $650, without housing will be $450. Current Scholastic Media Association members will enjoy a $50 discount.

    Payment may be made by check made payable to Scholastic Media Association, mailed to PO Box 545, Randolph, MA 02368. Payment by credit card can be done on-line. Purchase orders are accepted, please contact us at .
