The ASU American Indian Policy Institute (AIPI) & Native American Finance Officers Association (NAFOA) are excited to announce the upcoming Tribal Financial Manager Certificate training to be held December 4-6, 2017 at Arizona State University. 

The cost to attend is $1,850.00 or $1,700 for NAFOA member tribes. (For more information on NAFOA membership, please visit their membership page.)

TFMC is the official training course for NAFOA's newest publication, Financial Reporting and Information Guide for Tribal Governments and Enterprises (Orange Book)

Tribal Financial Manager Certificate Training Features:

  • Government accounting standards and principles
  • Compliance with the new OMB Uniform Guidance
  • Self-determination, self-governance, financial compliance, and record keeping
  • Effects of federal, state, and tribal taxation on tribal financial management, including development of a revenue allocation plan

Continuing Professional Education Information:
You can earn up to 20 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits through the Native American Finance Officers Association (NAFOA).

    After November 15, 2017 registration is by credit card only. We will take credit card payments until December 1, as long as there is space available.
