The UConn Center for mHealth and Social Media is pleased to present its 2nd Annual Conference with the theme of Digital Health at the Intersection of Academia and Industry.  The conference will be held at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on May 17, 2018.  Speakers include nationally renowned experts:  Dr. Brennan Spiegel from Cedars-Sinai, Dr. John Torous from Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center, Dr. Emil Chiauzzi from PatientsLikeMe, and Dr. Kate Wolin from Interactive Health.  They will be presenting state-of-the-art work in academia and industry using mobile apps, devices, virtual reality, and social media.  Breakout sessions with speakers will follow their dynamic keynote presentations.  Speakers will also engage in a panel discussion on the realities and challenges of academia-industry collaborations.  A poster session with wine/bar reception, with a cash bar, will be held at 4:00 pm.  An ATM is on-site.  Breakfast and lunch will be served.  Ample networking opportunities will be available throughout the day.  Submit your research to be a part of this exciting day!
