For ​most ​events, ​guests ​select ​the ​food ​first. ​How ​do ​you ​then ​pair ​the ​appropriate ​wines ​to ​elevate ​the ​guest ​experience? ​This ​presentation ​will ​discuss ​the ​basics ​of ​food ​and ​wine ​pairing. ​It ​will ​provide ​resources ​for ​selecting ​appropriate ​wines ​to ​match ​foods ​and ​tips ​for ​developing ​catering ​beverage ​lists ​appropriate ​for ​a ​wide ​variety ​of ​clientele ​and ​occasions. 

And ​we're ​in ​for ​a ​special ​treat. ​The ​students ​from ​HRTM ​363 ​Quantity ​Food ​Production ​and ​Service ​class, ​under ​the ​supervision ​of ​Chef ​John ​Hartley, ​will ​be ​preparing ​and ​serving ​the ​lunch ​during ​the ​presentation. ​All ​of ​them ​are ​studying ​for ​their ​Bachelor ​of ​Science ​in ​HRTM. ​
