Map and Directions

The HealthMeasures team at Northwestern University will present an introduction to item response theory (IRT), Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT), the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS), and how to access and administer PROMIS measures. The morning will focus on introducing attendees to IRT, CAT, and PROMIS while the afternoon will focus on options for administering PROMIS in your work.

This is an introductory workshop best suited for researchers and clinicians who are new to using PROMIS or who are interested in starting to work with PROMIS measures.

On Monday and Tuesday, March 26 & 27, the HealthMeasures team will also host a one and a half day NIH Toolbox® Training Workshop. If you are interested in learning about PROMIS and the NIH Toolbox®, you are invited to register for both trainings. Click here for more information on the NIH Toolbox® Training Workshop.

The cost is $250 for the PROMIS Training and $350 for the NIH Toolbox® Training Workshop, or we will offer a $500 discounted package if you register for both the PROMIS and NIH Toolbox® Training Workshops. Registration includes continental breakfast at the PROMIS training and day 2 of the NIH Toolbox® Training Workshop as well as afternoon snacks on both days.

Questions about the combined training or about how to receive the discounted package should be directed via email to Justin Jones.
